How to do business minus the H1N1 virus risk? Print This Post

Face MaskLooking at all the news on H1N1 swine flu virus, I see that this pandemic will act as a catalyst for more business relying on Internet as a better choice to interact and social.

Things you can do online:

  • Live web-meeting with webcam and presentation slides if needed.
  • Use Skype or other VOIP software to have telephone conversations.
  • Record a presentation and upload it to website.
  • Group Chat replacing meetings.
  • Share your computer screen with prospects or customers (or vice-versa). You can use this for training and also remote support (guiding your customer or friend to do something on his/her computer) over the Internet.

Bonus: Apart from health reasons, you can record the meetings or conversations, edit it and use for building your sales presentation and training system.

Also, we should suggest to schools and colleges to use Internet as a backup delivery system. Studies should continue despite isolation or quarantines.

Is there anything that you’re doing (or planning) to prevent the spread of virus?
